History of Vanda Institute
Vanda Institute of Accounting (VIA) is one of the fast growing tertiary education providers in Cambodia, although not the oldest. It first established in 1997 with students enrolled as little as 100 students, VIA now has more than 2000 students enrolled by the year 2005. Recently, VIA has expanded its role to provide more sophisticated courses and master degree.- In 1997, Vanda Centre provides short-course training and computerized accounting software's such as accounting application, Peachtree, QuickBooks, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- In June 2001, Vanda Faculty of Accounting (VFA) was found as a tertiary education provider and Vanda Centre was under its controlled. VFA has provided associate degree and bachelor degree of accounting.
- In 2002, Vanda Faculty of Accounting (VFA) was changed to Vanda Institute of Accounting (VIA).
- In 2005, VIA offered Master degree of accounting and auditing.

Accounting is more than just the Bookkeeping
The difference between accounting and bookkeeping may only be largely understood by person who has the knowledge of accounting and understand the important of accounting.
